Yes. The timer, presets and custom durations, tasks, daily and weekly statistics, the streak calendar, session history, the watch apps, widgets, notifications, calendar export, sync and data export are free, with no ads and no account.

FlowFocus Pro is optional. It adds all 16 themes and focus sounds, Commitment mode, the month view and insights in Statistics, CSV export, unlimited custom presets and, on Android, app blocking. It is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, each with a 3-day free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store or Google Play shows the price in your currency before you buy.

Open Settings → FlowFocus Pro and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account (iPhone, iPad and Mac) or Google account (Android) that you bought FlowFocus Pro with. You do not need a FlowFocus account.

A purchase made on iPhone or iPad also unlocks FlowFocus Pro on your Mac, and the other way round.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google, so you manage them in your store account:

• iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FlowFocus
• Mac: App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage
• Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date (or before a free trial ends) to avoid the next charge. You keep FlowFocus Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. For a refund, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play from your order history; we cannot issue refunds directly.

No. FlowFocus works the moment you open it. There is no sign-up and no password. In the background the app creates a private, anonymous identity so your own data can sync between your devices. We never ask for your name or email for it.

Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and only useful if you want your history to come with you to a new phone.

Your iPhone and Mac share the same anonymous FlowFocus identity through your Apple Keychain, so tasks, sessions and settings sync on their own. Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Keychain turned on, and that each has an internet connection.

Everything also works offline. Changes sync the next time the device is online.

Go to Settings → Timer Settings to change the focus length, short break, long break and how many sessions come before a long break. You can save combinations as presets and switch between them right from the timer.

When you create a task, estimate how many pomodoros it will take. Pick the task on the timer before you start, and each completed focus session adds one to that task's count, so you can see how your estimate compares with reality.

Tap the sound button on the timer and choose an ambient sound such as rain, ocean waves, fireplace, coffee shop or storm, then set the volume. Sounds keep playing while your screen is locked during a session.

On iPhone, start a session and lock your screen: the Live Activity shows the time left and lets you pause or resume. On iPhones with a Dynamic Island the timer appears there too. If you do not see it, check iPhone Settings → FlowFocus → Live Activities.

The Apple Watch app installs with FlowFocus on a paired watch. Open it to start, pause and follow your timer. You can also add FlowFocus to your Home Screen as a widget and to Control Center.

Yes. On Mac, FlowFocus lives in the menu bar so your timer is always one click away, and it supports global keyboard shortcuts.

Yes. The Android app includes a Home Screen widget and a timer notification you can control, and FlowFocus Pro adds app blocking during focus sessions. The Wear OS app has a tile and a watch face complication.

Yes. Turn on Settings → Calendar Sync, allow calendar access and choose a calendar. Each completed focus session is then added as an event. You can turn it off any time.

Open Statistics for today's and this week's focus charts and your full session history. The streak calendar marks every day you focused. FlowFocus Pro adds the month view and insights.

Check that notifications are allowed for FlowFocus in your device settings and that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not silencing them. On Android, also allow exact alarms and turn off battery optimisation for FlowFocus so the timer is not paused in the background.

Export a copy at Settings → Profile → Export My Data. To delete everything, use Settings → Profile → Delete All Data (or Delete Account if you signed in).
