Plunge Tracker is operated by Tappect and available on iOS. This policy applies to all users of the Plunge Tracker application.

Note: Plunge Tracker uses Google and Apple sign-in exclusively. We do not offer email/password authentication.

- Session duration and timestamps
- Water and air temperature readings
- Session zones and intervals
- Personal notes and ratings

- Data synced from Apple HealthKit (with your explicit permission)
- Apple Watch sensor data (if Watch sync is enabled)
Important: Biometric and HealthKit data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for purposes other than providing app functionality. You can disable health integrations at any time in settings.

We automatically collect technical information:
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- App version and unique app instance identifier
- Language and timezone settings

Offline-First: Your session data is primarily stored on your device. Cloud sync occurs when you sign in, ensuring your data is available even without an internet connection.
While we take security seriously, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
6.1 Access and Portability
- Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- View your complete session history and statistics within the app

- Update your profile information directly in the app settings
- Edit or delete individual session records

- Delete your account and all associated data through app settings
- Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

- HealthKit: Revoke access in device Health settings or app settings
- Apple Watch: Disable Watch sync in app settings

7. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active
- Session Data: Retained to preserve your history, streaks, and statistics, unless you delete your account
- Biometric Data: Stored alongside session records; deleted when sessions or account are deleted
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained for up to 2 years
- Deleted Account Data: Removed from active systems within 30 days; backup copies deleted within 90 days
8. Children's Privacy
Plunge Tracker is designed for adults and is not intended for use by children under 13. Cold plunge and sauna activities carry inherent risks and should only be performed by adults or under adult supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us at hello@tappect.com and we will delete the information promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in servers located in different countries, including the United States. By using Plunge Tracker, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.
We ensure that all international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your data receives an adequate level of protection.
