Delete your Meanwhile data
Meanwhile has no email or password account. Your history lives on your phone, and our servers only hold what is needed to deliver photos between paired phones.
Two ways to delete
In the app (instant)
Open Meanwhile and go to:
Settings, Where your photos live, Delete my account
Deletes everything on your phone and everything we hold for you right away, and ends all pairings.
By email (no app needed)
Send us your Meanwhile ID and platform.
Email a deletion requestWe delete server data within 30 days and confirm by reply. Data on your phone is removed by uninstalling the app.
What is deleted
- Your anonymous app identifier and pairing records
- Any encrypted photos or notes still waiting to be delivered
- Your encrypted cloud backup, if you turned it on
- The record of which pairings your subscription covers
What we cannot delete
- Photos already delivered to the people you paired with are stored on their phones. Ending a pairing in the app lets you remove them from their phone.
- Reels you shared outside the app, or screenshots.
- Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for tax and legal reasons. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
